Bernetta M. Petruzates, 82, of Weston, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Ministry Saint Clares Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Bernetta was born December 4, 1933 to the late Bernard and Marie (Bergum) Bragstad, in Longwood, Wisconsin. She was formerly employed at Wausau Insurance for over 25 years.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years Larry Petruzates: her sister, Christine (JR) Buss; her children, Barbara (James) Meunier, Thomas Petruzates, Gerald (Diana) Petruzates, Donald Petruzates, Diane (Jon) Bendrick and Suzanne (Brian) Ott; nine grandchildren , Jon, Amy, Marie, Eric, Ross, Samantha, Paul, Keith and Gina; 15 great-grandchildren, Ashley, Leah, Alivia, Lillian, Klayton, Eliza, Andrew, Grace, Matthew, Eli, Dylan, Drake, Tally, Eden and Logan.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the Brainard Funeral Home Everest Chapel, 5712 Memorial Court, Weston, WI. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
