Patricia A. “Pat” Horgen, 89, Green Bay, died peacefully Wednesday, September 21, 2016. She was born on February 5, 1927, in Merrill, WI to Otis and Gertrude (Lange) Parshall.
Pat was a graduate of Merrill High School, Class of 1945. She worked as a secretary for several years before marrying Lester M. Horgen. They met in Merrill and were married in 1951. Shortly after they moved to Green Bay where Lester worked for the Dept. of Corrections. In 1956, they bought their house in Allouez and lived there for over 30 years. Pat was a caring, loving, kind, generous, quit witted person, and was a good caregiver for elderly people in their homes. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker.
Pat is survived by her son, Wayne Horgen; daughter, Susan Pycha; granddaughter, Heather Pycha; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Darlene Parshall; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester; grandson, Frankie; her parents; and a brother, Donald Parshall.
Friends may call at Faith Lutheran Church, 2335 S. Webster Ave., from 1 to 3 pm. Friday, September 30. The Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the church with Rev.
