Riverside Athletic Club was able to donate various school supplies to Saint Francis School in September thanks to the help of our members.
“Anyone joining Riverside in August or the beginning of September was asked to bring in a school supply donation and in return we would give them September free,” says Becci Shuman, club Manager. “Every year we do a School Supply donation for our area schools. We know there is a great need in our community. We wanted a way to give back to our community. All the supplies went to St. Francis School here in Merrill. This month, we are having a food drive. Every new member can bring in a food donation and will get the rest of September and October for free. All the donated food will go to the Merrill Food Pantry.”
