Tomahawk man charged in spoiled burglary attempt

Tyler W. Leder, 20 of Tomahawk-was charged August 2 with Felony-Burglary to a Dwelling and Misdemeanor Criminal Damage to Property.
According to court records, Leder was involved in an incident in rural Lincoln County during which he reportedly made entry into a residence without the homeowner’s consent. Leder reportedly used a blade from a hedge trimmer to break glass in making entry to the residence, but soon fled the residence upon interruption by the homeowner.

Maurice J. Holt, 32 of Wausau-was charged August 2 with Misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct and two charges of Misdemeanor Bailjumping. According to court records, Holt was involved in an altercation with another inmate in the Lincoln County Jail. Following the altercation, Holt was transported for medical treatment due to suffering broken facial bones during the altercation.
