‘Odd’ beahvior leads to multiple charges for Merrill woman

Dana Lemke-43 of Merrill, was charged July 27 with misdemeanor charges of 2nd Offense-Operating a Motor Vehicle while under the Influence with passengers under the age of 16, Neglecting a Child and 2 counts of misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
According to court records, Lemke was involved in an incident at the MARC on the afternoon of July 26 during which Merrill officers were requested by center staff due to Lemke’s reportedly odd behavior while in the care of five children. Lemke later admitted to having used narcotic medication as well as Methamphetamine within 24 hours prior to the incident. Lemke reportedly displayed lethargic behavior, ‘drooping’ eye lids and exaggerated
muscle movements. Lemke’s later children, all under the age of 16, later indicated Lemke had blown stop signs while en route to the center
