July 18
2:49 a.m.- An officer responded to a female knocking on several doors in the 1300 block of N. Center Avenue. The female was found to be under the influence of narcotics. The investigation lead to conducting a welfare check on the suspect’s children at her residence. The female suspect was taken to jail.

July 19
10:12 a.m.- An officer investigated a theft at Walmart. The investigation is ongoing.

2:54 p.m.- An officer investigated a theft in the 500 block of West 4th Street.

4:52 p.m.- An officer located a female with an active warrant. She was arrested and taken to the jail.

9:10 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle on East Main Street. The male suspect was arrested for active arrest warrants.

July 20
7:43 p.m.- An officer responded to a child abuse complaint. The caller stated a small child was running around in the parking lot area near the apartment complex and his mother was yelling at him. The mother and son were located down the street and were spoken to. The child had been out of control at the apartment and he was the one yelling in the parking lot. There was no issue other than the child misbehaving.

July 21
2:39 p.m.- An officer responded to a child neglect complaint. The caller stated there was a vehicle parked in a business parking lot with the windows down and motor running. There were small children and an infant in the vehicle alone. Contact was made with the owner and parent. She stated she did leave the children alone in the vehicle while she ran errands. Social Services was contacted and they will be conducting an investigation at a later time and the report is being forwarded to the district attorney.
