The regular season is now over and the Merrill varsity trap team finished third in the league at 5-2. Merrill was in a tie with Tomahawk going into the last week at 5–1, they finished 2nd. The Langlade Falcons took first. Merrill did have three varsity shooters from Merrill finish in the top five, with Donald Ogden finishing second, Cody Vonderheid finishing third and Brody Zocher finishing fourth.
The JV team finished at three and four, placing fifth in the league. Wyatt Koehler finished eighth overall on JV. Merrill will be competing in the regionals this Saturday at the Ashley Shooting Club and then at the state shoot on June 25th in Rome, WI at the ATA home grounds.
