March 26
1:40 p.m.- A caller reported finding syringes in his yard as well as his neighbor’s yard. An officer removed the syringes and disposed of them.

March 27
2:52 a.m.- An officer observed a male walking near Grand Avenue that he knew had a warrant for his arrest. Contact was made with the man and the warrant confirmed. The man was arrested for that warrant. He was searched and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine as well as drug paraphernalia. He was additionally charged for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

3:28 a.m.- A store employee reported a suspicious man at their store. The man had been in the store for several hours. He attempted to steal merchandise and set off an alarm. The man then came back into the store, abandoned the items he was trying to steal and fled out of a fire exit. The K9 unit was able to track the suspect in a wooded area near the store. The man was found hiding in the wooded area by the K9 and he was arrested for retail theft, possession of burglarous tools and several counts of bail jumping.

7:10 a.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle after finding the registered owner had a revoked driver’s license. A female passenger was found to have a warrant for her arrest. K9 was requested and a Wausau K9 team arrived. The dog positively alerted to the odor of drugs coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed 4 grams of methamphetamine. An electronic weapon was also located. A third passenger had refused to identify himself. All three were arrested for a variety of charges. The man who refused to identify himself was identified through his fingerprints and it was found he too had warrants for his arrest. All three were charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of electronic weapon. Other charges included bail jumping and the active warrants.

8:05 p.m.- A caller reported her juvenile son had been struck by another juvenile. One of the juveniles is on supervision through Social Services. He will be referred to their agency for this incident.
