Andrea Mae Dallman

Andrea Mae Dallman, age 85, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Pinecrest Nursing Home in Merrill, while under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice and surrounded by her loving family.

Andrea was born on March 9, 1930 to the late Ned “Thomas” and Martha (Wangen) Fox in Merrill, WI.  She met and fell in love with Earl Harvey Dallman and the two exchanged vows on October 18, 1952 in Merrill, WI.  He survives.

Andrea and Earl, along with their children, ran the family dairy farm in the town of Corning for many years.  She loved working on the farm – but also enjoyed being a homemaker and being able to stay home with her children.  Andrea was also a clerk at the local Woolworth’s store.  She and Earl enjoyed traveling to Switzerland, Oregon, California and even visiting the Grand Canyon. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, baking and spending time with the grandkids.  Andrea was a very handy and talented woman.  She loved life, and always put God and her family first.  Andrea never complained about her illness and always kept in touch with her family and siblings.  She was a sharp woman, with an amazing memory and a “spitfire” personality that everyone loved!  Andrea was a long-time member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in the town of Berlin.  She will be sadly missed.

Andrea is survived by her loving husband: Earl Dallman, daughter: Marge (Gary) Roggenbuck, son: Michael Dallman, grandchildren: Amy (Steve) Zimmerman, Mark (Krystal) Roggenbuck, Quentin (Becky) Roggenbuck, Scott Leo Dallman (Melissa Tremaine) and Travis Dallman (Cassie Achterberg), all of Merrill, great grandchildren: Emily Zimmerman, Sarah Zimmerman, Kaylee Rose Dallman and Kaisyn Michael Dallman, brothers: Eugene Fox of Wausau, David Fox of Merrill, Alfred James (Linda) Fox of Merrill, Royal (Geraldine) Fox of Merrill and Dennis (Earleen) Fox of Merrill, sister: Martha (Walter) Bahlow of Merrill and sister-in-law: Marion Fox.  She was proceeded in death by her parents: Ned (Martha) Fox, son: Scott Thomas Dallman, sisters: Edna Dey and Carol Hass, brother: Ned Fox, great grandson: Jake Roggenbuck and by brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.

A funeral service for Andrea will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 11AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church in the town of Berlin.  Rev.
