The Merrill boys varsity basketball team scored a major victory against Waupaca last night. After a first period that was mostly controlled by Waupaca, the Bluejays came back in the second period. Both teams remained close in points during the second period, frequently going back and forth in terms of most points scored. However, with only a few minutes left, a couple of well-placed 3 point shots and free throws helped the Bluejays maintain a solid lead until the time ran out.
Boys varsity will play their last regular season game at home against Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln this Friday at the MHS field house.
