Every member of the Merrill Special Olympics team earned a medal in the Special Olympics Winter Games held in Wausau on Jan. 20-21.
Sindey Ruplinger won gold (snowshoe, 50M) and silver (ss, 100M) medals, while Matthew Ryan collected gold (ss, 100M) and bronze (ss, 50M).
Alexandra Lee (silver, cross country, 1K; 4th, cc, 500M), Kyle Weber (bronze, cc, 500M; bronze, cc, 1K), Zachary Peterson (bronze, ss, 50M; 4th, ss, 100M) and Jordan Schwartz (bronze, ss, 100M; 4th, ss, 50M) also competed well.
