Kim F. Hartwig, age 51, of Merrill, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Kim was born March 25, 1964, in Merrill, WI, to the late Francis “Buddy” and Shirley (Juneau) Hartwig.
Kim was born and raised in Merrill and attended Merrill High School. He was employed at Fromm Brothers in Hamburg, WI, and later was employed at Literski Mill Works in Merrill. Kim enjoyed hunting, fishing and mud bogging with his family. He was an animal lover, especially dogs, and enjoyed playing practical jokes on anyone. Kim was known by family and friends as “Smokey” and will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors Include: 1 Son, Bradley (Mindy) Litzen, of Merrill; 1 Daughter, Cassie Hartwig, of Merrill; 1 Brother, Tylor (Charlotte Downing) Hartwig, of Irma; 1 Sister, Shelley Hartwig, of Merrill; 3 Grandchildren, Marshall, Emily and Alexis; and 3 Nieces, Randi (Max) Callos, Haile (Jeremy) Nelson, and Jerrica (Dave) Woller.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brother, Kelley, and Niece, Jessica.
