Merrill High School students Katy Nelson, Courtney Hinz, and Nicole Seidler had drawings selected to submit to the 2015-2016 Student Art Exhibit and Awards sponsored by the Wisconsin Association of School Boards, the Wisconsin Art Education Association and Liberty Mutual. The Theme of the 95th State Education Convention art contest was “Educating Hearts and Minds to Build Sustainable Communities and a Healthy Future.”
Placing in the top 10 throughout the state of Wisconsin, Katy Nelson received 3rd place for her drawing receiving a check for $250.
All three girls will have their artwork on display at the State Convention Jan. 20 and 21, 2016. More than 3,000 attendees will have the opportunity to view their artwork.
