Lorraine Boehm

Lorraine Boehm, age 79, of Tomahawk, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Lorraine was born on February 2, 1936 in the town of Hamburg, WI to her parents, Daniel & Alice (Baneck) Bloch. On October 10, 1953, she married Vernon Boehm; together they had 4 children. Vernon preceded her in death on October 1, 2005. Lorraine was remarried to Richard Seufzer in December of 2006. Lorraine worked for Weinbrenner’s Shoe Company in Merrill & she worked for Wausau Insurance before she retired. Lorraine had a heart that was dedicated to the ministries of Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church. She was the president of the Women’s Church Guild, she belonged to the Singles Club, the Coffee Shop Clutch and the Quilter’s Club at her church. She was a former member of T.A.G. and volunteered her time at Dime & Dollar. Lorraine was a faithful member of Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church in Tomahawk.

Lorraine is survived by her husband, Richard “Dick” Seufzer, of Tomahawk; Daughter, Deborah (William) Balz, of Athens and their children, Sarah (Joseph Baldazzi) Balz and Denise (Tim Kunick) Nygaard, and grandchildren, Natalia & Cristiana Baldazzi; Son, Lee (Mary Lou) Boehm, of Hamburg and their children Jennifer (Ryan) Podeweltz, Daniel (Stephanie Yonke) Boehm and grandchildren,Isabelle & Delana Podeweltz and Kayson Boehm; Daughter, Sharon (Dale) Borchardt, of Merrill, and their children Alan (Ellie) Borchardt, Christine Borchardt & Jamie (Scott) Haig; and Daughter, Donna (Thomas) Pederson, of Tomahawk and their children, Shawn (Kari) Pederson, Christina (Michael) Rabideaux & Sarah (Zach) Roeder and grandchildren, Reva, Leia & Kyra Syverson, Isabelle & Mya Rabideaux & Toren Pederson. Lorraine is further survived by Richard’s 9 Children and their families.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Vernon.

The Funeral for Lorraine Boehm will take place at 11:00AM on Wednesday, November 25th at Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church, in Tomahawk. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 24th at the Krueger Family Funeral Home from 4:00PM until 7:00PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at the church from 10:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM. Burial will take place at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Cemetery in the town of Hamburg at 2:30PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lorraine’s name to the Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church-Elevator Fund.
