The Merrill High School Marching Jays hosted the Merrill Marching Invitational Sunday at Jay Stadium. The event featured performances by the high school marching bands from D.C. Everest, Antigo and Merrill.
Seniors in the Marching Jays were saluted following their final Merrill Marching Invitational performance.
This year’s field show for the Marching Jays is “The Dark Side of the Moon,” featuring the music of David Bowie, Van Morrison and Pink Floyd.
The Marching Jays are in the midst of the marching season, which concludes with the state championships at UW-Whitewater on Oct. 17.
