Audrey M. Haring, age 82, of 2594 County Road L, Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at her home under the care of Ministry Home Hospice and her loving family.
Audrey was born on February 11, 1933 in Merrill to the late Phillip and Celia (Willet) Bushar. She was married to Emil H. Haring on June 18, 1949 in Merrill. He passed away in 2006. Audrey was a rural letter carrier for the Tomahawk Post Office for over 25 years. She loved golfing, going for walks and reading. Audrey also enjoyed shopping, baking and crocheting. She played softball into her 60’s and was proud that she was able to play with all of her daughters on the diamond.
Survivors include: six daughters, Penny Haring, Tomahawk, Mary Jo (Jim) Callahan, Tomahawk, Kathy (Mike) Peeters, Merrill, Barb (Brent) Wakeland, Milan, IL, Brenda Haring, Tomahawk, Rebecca Haring, Tomahawk; two sons, Emil (Pam) Haring, Tomahawk, and Greg (Amanda Geiger) Haring, Tomahawk; sisters, Phyllis “Pippi” (Ray) Gilson, Betty Jane Klinefeldt; brothers, Phillip Bushar and Pete (Karen) Bushar, all of Merrill. Audrey is further survived by 22 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Emil H., a grandson, a great grandson, nine brothers and four sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial for Audrey Haring will be offered on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from St. Mary Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Edward Powell will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Krueger Family Funeral Home is assisting the family.
