Nancy L. Meyer, age 58, of Merrill, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015, at her home, under the care of her family and hospice services.
Nancy was born October 25, 1956, in Merrill, daughter of Marjorie (Zimmerman) Meyer, Merrill, and the late Harold Meyer. Nancy had been employed at the Merrill Foto News, Hurd Millwork, Merrill, and “Power Clean”. She enjoyed babysitting, playing cards, casino trips and “playing the machines”. Throughout her illness, Nancy maintained a positive attitude and never gave up.
Survivors include her mother, Marjorie Meyer, Merrill; three sisters, Sharon (Bill) Schneider, and Julie (Mark) Lambrecht, both of Merrill, and Donna (Frank) Shaver, Shawano; four brothers, Dave (Tamslee) Meyer, Keith ‘Harvey’ (JoAnn) Meyer, and Paul (Lori) Meyer, all of Merrill, and Harley (Sherry) Meyer, Spencer; several nieces and nephews; and her very good friends, Lynn Zunker and Family of Merrill. Nancy is preceded in death by her father, Harold Meyer, and a brother, Mark Meyer.
A Memorial Service for Nancy will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Sister John Marie will preside. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home beginning at 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday.
