Vivian M. Woller

Vivian M. Woller, age 87, of Merrill, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Sylvan Crossing in Wausau surrounded by her loving family under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services. She was born January 8, 1928 in the Town of Maine to the late Theodore and Helen (Dehnel) Hackbarth. On January 26, 1981 she and Amos Woller were united in marriage in Merrill. He survives.
Vivian worked as a CNA for many years at Colonial Manor in Wausau then at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a very hard worker and loved people. Vivian loved to polka dance and enjoyed playing sheephead. She loved watching TV game shows and enjoyed whenever she had a chance to go fishing. Vivian had a great love for her family and always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed Maple Syrup season and cooking syrup with her family. Vivian will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends.
Survivors include her husband: Amos Woller, Merrill; her five children: Judy (friend, Skip Mortimer) Mortimer, Joan Macomber, all of Wausau, Ed (Janice) Krause, Darlene (Dennis) Drewek and Pamela (David) Tessmer, all of Athens; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; one brother: Walter (Lila) Hackbarth, Appleton; one sister: Virginia Erdman, Wausau; many nieces and nephews; and very good friend: Lavilla Bauman, Athens. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband: William Krause; son-in-law: George Macomber; three siblings: Dorothy Hackbarth, Charles Hackbarth and William Hackbarth; and her grandson, Brian Borchardt.
Funeral Services for Vivian will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Faith Lutheran Church, Town of Maine. Rev. Kevin Hoogland will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Tuesday, July 21 at Waid Funeral Home and again from 10 AM until the time of service at the church on Wednesday. Burial will follow in Faith Lutheran Cemetery, South, in the Town of Maine. Memorials may be given in Vivian’s name to the American Heart Association. The family would like to thank Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice for their wonderful care of Vivian. Waid Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
