Phillip John Sadowski

Phillip John Sadowski, age 61, died Sunday, July 5, 2015 at his home.
Phil was born on May 4, 1954, in Wausau, son of the late Lambert and Lucille (Guilliame) Sadowski. He married Deborah Ann Borneman on May 28, 1977 in Polar, WI. She survives. Phil worked as a welder at the former Hammerblow Corp., Wausau. He retired at age 39. Phil held office as the Town Constable of Pine River for the past 10 years. He was also a member of the Gleason Lion’s Club for the past 20 years.
Phil has many hobbies he enjoyed. Amongst them he had a passion for hunting, fishing, and camping. He was an avid collector of treasures and collectible. He also dabbled in guitar and auto mechanics.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Sadowski of the Town of Pine River; his children, Danielle Sadowski of Wausau and Patrick Sadowski of Merrill; his sisters, Debra Brzezinski of Wausau and Mary Bombinster of Des Moines, Iowa; his brothers, Frank (Betty) Sadowski of Mosinee and Michael Sadowski of Milwaukee; and many nieces and nephews. Phil is also survived by his extended family, Brenda (Miguel Mendez) Stockman of Hatley and their children, Adrian and Myhla Mendez-Stockman; Stephanie Habeck of Madison and her son, Tremayne Habeck; and Melissa Habeck of Merrill and her son, Colton Habeck. Phil was preceded in death by his parents, Lambert and Lucille Sadowski; and his brother, David Sadowski.
A Memorial Service for Phil will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 9, 2015, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Town of Pine River. The Rev. Greg Laska will officiate. The family will received friends beginning at 9:00 A.M. Thursday at the church. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family.
