The Wausau Aspirus Hospital announced the winners of the STAR (Student Talent Art Review).
Merrill High School art students took 10 of 13 places with Tristen Prebeg placing 1st and Emily Wegner 3rd. Honorable Mentions went to Abigail Toschner (two pieces), McKenzie Broeking, Jeza Kleinschmidt (2 pieces), Courtney Hinz, Tristen Prebeg and Emily Wegner.
Their artwork has been professionally matted, framed and will hang at the hospital for one year.
