Drive for Kids benefits St. John School

On April 23, Brickner’s Park City helped St. John Mother’s Club raise $2,410 at a Drive for Kids fundraising event held during the school’s science fair.

Participants earned a $10 contribution to the school from the Chrysler brand by taking a brief test drive in a 2015 model Town & Country, Chrysler 200 or Chrysler 300 vehicle during the event. The total test drives for the event was 191, which earned St. John an additional $500 bonus for drawing more than 150 drivers.

This was the third Drive for Kids event held at St. John Lutheran School.

“The St. John Mother’s Club does a fantastic job getting people to come out for the event,” Brickner said.

The Mother’s Club supports the school in various ways. Money raised through Drive for Kids will go toward new playground equipment, offsetting the cost of field trips, library materials or supplies for the gym.
