A 24-year-old Merrill man was taken into custody Wednesday morning in connection to a felony investigation where he was alleged to have sexual contact with a 15-year-old female.
According to a statement from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Travis L. Liebers admitted to investigators he drove the victim to remote locations where the two engaged in sexual activity on several occasions.
Liebers will have a bond hearing on Thursday for charges of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, Child Enticement and Repeated Sexual Assault of Same Child.
