T.B. Scott Library will host author Joe Niese as part of the library’s Words Worth Hearing series on Sunday, April 12 at 1 p.m. in the Community Room.
Niese will discuss his book, Handy Andy: The Andy Pafko Story, a biography of professional baseball player Andy Pafko. A Boyceville, Wis. native, Pafko played for the Chicago Cubs, Brooklyn Dodgers and Milwaukee Braves in the 1940s and ‘50s.
Niese’s book will be available for sale and signing. Refreshments will be offered compliments of First Street Coffee Station and the Checkered Churn.
