The Merrill Youth Hockey Association’s Squirt A Team won the Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association Squirt 4A State Championship on March 15th besting Shawano 6-3 while killing a season high 10 penalties. The team traveled to Manitowoc on March 14 where they beat Altoona 10-0 and Cumberland 9-2 to get to the championship game on Sunday. They outshot their opponents 124-25 on the weekend while outscoring them 25-5.
