Suspects named in meth bust

The two individuals involved in a seizure of Methamphetamine on the evening of Friday March 13th in the city of Merrill, have been identified as 31 year old Jamie L. Pankow of Merrill and 33 year old Jonathan C. Huff of Wausau.

According to information released by the the Merrill Police Department, shortly after 7 PM patrol officers were advised of a female with a valid warrant for her arrest, leaving a local fuel station.
An officer observed the female’s vehicle traveling northbound on Pier Street, and stopped the vehicle near the intersection of Pier and Ninth Streets.
Upon contact with the driver Pankow, the warrant was confirmed and she was taken into custody. 
Pankow’s male passenger initially refused to identify himself, but was later identified as Huff. Officer “Eros” of the Merrill Police Department’s K9 unit arrived on scene a short time later to assist in the investigation, and rendered a positive sniff of Pankow’s vehicle. 
As a result 3 grams of  Methamphetamine, nearly $1,700 in cash, as well as Pankow’s vehicle and Methamphetamine Paraphernalia were seized
Upon further investigation, it was discovered Huff also had a valid warrant for his arrest through the Department of Probation and Parole. He was taken into custody for the warrant as well as felony charges of Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver and Possession of Methamphetamine Paraphernalia.
Along with her valid warrant, Pankow was also charged with Felony Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver,Possession of Methamphetamine Paraphernalia and Maintain Drug Trafficking Place. 
Pankow appeared in Lincoln County Circuit Court on Monday and a $1,000 signature bond was set along with a $500 cash bond. Pankow was released from custody on Friday.
