Associated Bank gets a facelift

Associated Bank of Merrill recently held a grand reopening to show off a remodeling of the bank’s interior. The new look is part of a program to give all Associated Bank locations a uniform appearance.
The customer service area of the bank got all new carpet, tile and paint. The teller line got three new windows and a desk. Customers also now have a private viewing room for safety deposit boxes. A hospitality station was also added to the bank’s lobby. All new signage and an advertising screen are also part of the new look.
The offices also got new paint and carpeting.
“We did a full facelift,” said Merrill Associated Bank Branch Manager Leah Nelson. “Associated Bank wants all the offices to be the same in our market, so everybody has that homey feel. Everybody likes it, it’s much more warm, open and inviting.”
Because the Merrill bank, built in 2002, is fairly new, it was one of the last locations to get the new look.
When Associated Bank built the new location in Merrill, the old bank on South Center Avenue was donated to the Merrill Area Chamber of Commerce.
