Delores E. ?Dee Dee? King

Delores E. ‘Dee Dee’ King, age 80, of the township of Tomahawk, Lincoln County, died Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill. 
Delores was born May 22, 1934, in Merrill, daughter of the late William and Marie (Schaub) Savaske. She married Richard W. King in 1955, in Minnesota, and he survives. Delores had been employed at Wire Products, Inc. of Merrill. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. Delores enjoyed fishing and she was very good at it. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time at the ‘family shack’ in Newwood. 
Survivors include her husband, Richard W. King, Tomahawk; one son, Richard King, Jr. of Merrill; two grandsons, Ryan King (with Penny Callahan) of Merrill, and Ben King of Platteville; and her sister, Doris (Paul) Arseneau of Merrill. Delores is preceded in death by her parents, William and Marie Savaske; one sister, Diane Bushar; two adult brothers, Kenneth and Edward Savaske; and two infant brothers. 
The funeral will be at 12 Noon on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. The Rev. Scott Gustafson will officiate. Burial will follow in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
