Debra L. Heise-Clark retires from federal service

Debra L. Heise-Clark of Sparta and Merrill retired with more than 30 years of federal service. She most recently served as a safety and occupational health specialist with the Installation Safety Office.
Heise-Clark previously served dual-status as a Soldier and government civilian employee as an education services officer, maintenance management officer and state safety manager in the Wisconsin Army National
Guard. She also served active-duty Army and the Army Reserve.
Her last assignment in the military at Fort McCoy was as the officer-in-charge for the arrival/departure Airfield Control Group during Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
Fort McCoy Garrison Commander Col. Steven W. Nott presented Heise-Clark with the Commander’s Award for Civilian Service, a Certificate of Retirement with pin, and a Commander’s Coin.
Heise-Clark’s retirement plans include camping, fishing and volunteer work in the community.
