First Street Coffee Station is inviting everyone to join in caroling at the Normal Park gazebo on Sunday, Dec. 21 starting at 6 p.m. Free hot chocolate will be provided.
“Hopefully, we’ll get lots and lots of people,” said Dawn Swan, co-owner of First Street Coffee Station. The event is fun way to get people in the community together, she added.
The caroling is sure to set a new record for the most people gathered in one place to sing Christmas carols in Merrill – regardless of how many people show up. First Street Coffee Station plans to start a Merrill Book of Records which will start with the gazebo caroling event.
