Edwin A. Hildebrand, 85, passed away peacefully at St. Clare’s Hospital in Weston surrounded by his loving family. Edwin was born January 22, 1929 to Edward & Alma Hildebrand in Tomahawk, WI. Edwin married Frances (July) in March, 1949 and they celebrated 66 years of marriage before his passing. He worked at Merrill Mfg for 47 years, most of the time as a supervisor. He belonged to St Francis Xavier Church, was active in the Knights of Columbus, was a cub master, loved going on vacations and camping with the family. He also had a love for hunting & fishing in Somo Country, motorcycling and snowmobiling.
He is survived by his wife Frances, one son; Joe (Augo) Hildebrand, Merrill, two daughters; Terrie Holt, Merrill, Tuddie (Joan) ( Doug) Polar, Merrill, one brother; Fred Hildebrand, Wausau, six grandchildren, Heather, Aaron, Brad, Ryan, Erica and Patrick and seven great grandchildren, Kyle, Wilson, Carter, Hailey, Cole, Keegan & Riley.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 5 brothers and 1 sister.
