Ellen ?Ellie? Goldie Patterson

Ellen “Ellie” Goldie Patterson, age 52, of Merrill, passed away on Oct. 24, 2014 at the UW Madison Hospital in Madison, WI.

Ellie was a very hard worker and enjoyed her customers that came to the Americinn Hotel where she was the lead housekeeper. She was not known to take many days off of work! Ellie loved and cherished her family very much – they were her priority. She always kept their home in immaculate shape and enjoyed entertaining friends and family, she was a social butterfly. She not only kept her house neat and tidy, she would help with yardwork as well. Ellie made friends very easily and was very easy to talk to. She would work on her beautiful cross-stitch pieces while watching her favorite show, NCIS. Ellie liked to spend time on the water, including going fishing. She also enjoyed hunting, canoeing and going camping with family. Ellie was a wonderful cook and the kitchen was always open. She will be sadly missed.
