Church Mutual?s United Way support surpasses $100,000
Church Mutual Insurance Company’s support of the United Way once again reached an all-time high as the combination of employee contributions and the corporate match brought in a total of $100,047.44.
Church Mutual’s United Way contributions over the past eight years now total more than $575,000.
“Every year Church Mutual sets a very high bar and they continue to exceed their bar,” Merrill United Way Executive Director Dee Olsen said. “The employees are so giving and in tune with supporting the community.
“To have a successful campaign, it takes a serious commitment from the corporate leaders and in that area, Church Mutual excels,” she continued. “We appreciate the corporate match which punctuates their support of Merrill.”
“I am so grateful but not surprised by the generosity of our employees who made the contributions towards meeting the social needs in the Merrill area,” said Church Mutual Chief Executive Officer Mike Ravn. “Our colleagues recognize it is important to help Merrill citizens ‘Live United’.”
Founded on March 4, 1897, Church Mutual insures more than twice as many worship centers as its nearest competitor. The company also provides property and liability coverage to camps and conference centers, schools and senior living facilities.
