Bucki will be sentenced for wife?s murder Thursday

Mark Bucki, convicted of killing his wife and hiding her body, will be sentenced Thursday in Lincoln County Circuit Court. He faces a mandatory life sentence, with the only question being when he will be eligible for parole.
A 12-member Lincoln County jury rendered verdicts of guilty to all charges against Bucki in April. He was charged with first degree intentional homicide, strangulation/suffocation and hiding a corpse in connection with the death of his wife Anita in April 2013.
Mark reported his wife missing from their town of Corning home on April 26, 2013. Her body was found in Taylor County May 13. She had been strangled, stabbed and her body left in a swamp along Cty. C, about 20 miles from the Bucki home.
Following the verdicts, Lincoln County Circuit Court Judge Jay Tlusty ordered a pre-sentence investigation to be completed before sentencing.
