The 2014 Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo will be held at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Merrill June 6,7 & 8. The new rodeo queen will be crowned at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday June 8, just prior to the 1 p.m. rodeo performance.
The queen contestants will be selling advanced tickets until noon Friday, June 6. Ticket sales are one component of the queen contest; they are also judged on personality, a speech, rodeo knowledge, and horsemanship.
The new queen will promote the Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo at other rodeos and events throughout the year and then reign over the 2015 rodeo in Merrill.
