Members from the Mid WI Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans are hosting a service activity to help clear the River Bend Trail of Merrill. The activity will be held May 17 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Volunteers will begin at South Polk Street near the east end of Hurd. Volunteers will receive a t-shirt. Everyone is welcome.
Volunteers will be removing brush and downed trees, and clearing rock. Please bring work gloves, rakes, shovels, chain saws, etc.
