Construction is planned to resume Monday, May 5, at the intersection of Hwy. 64 and Pine Ridge Ave. The contractor making improvements to the intersection has provided a new work schedule. Temporary traffic controls, pavement removals, and excavation work will start the first full week of May, and construction will continue for about seven weeks.
The contractor will provide access to all businesses in the area and maintain through traffic. Work in May will also include: curb and gutter, concrete pavement, milling and paving the Hwy. 64 intersection, sidewalk, landscaping, electrical, pedestrian and handicap crossings, and some signing.
