Carol Dahl (Guerin) Storm, 76, of Onalaska, died on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013 at the Gundersen-Lutheran Medical Center.
She was born in Merrill on Feb. 28, 1937, the daughter of Bernard and Clara (Dahl) Guerin. Carol was raised in the country in Rock Falls Township by the beautiful Wisconsin River. On Dec. 26, 1959 she married Gerald Lloyd Storm in Merrill.
Carol enjoyed being home and taking care of her family. She liked the outdoors and taking long walks wherever she and Gerald lived. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Onalaska.
In addition to her husband of 54 years, she is survived by two sons, Thomas G. and Timothy T. Storm; two grandsons, Ryan M. and Addison G. Storm; a sister, Kathleen (Edwin) Swan; brother-in-law, Vernon Storm; and sisters-in-law Marilyn Storm and Eunice Guerin. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dale and Duane Guerin.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 1315 Redwood Street, Onalaska, WI with Rev. Donald Stein officiating. A private family burial will be held at the family’s convenience. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church or an organization of the donor’s choice.
