Jury finds Mark Bucki guilty

After about nine hours of deliberation, a Lincoln County jury rendered a verdict of guilty to all charges in the Mark Bucki murder trial at just after noon on Tuesday. The jury began deliberations Monday at about 4 p.m. and wrapped up for the night at around 9 p.m. before reconvening Tuesday morning at 8 a.m.
Bucki was charged with first degree intentional homicide, strangulation/suffocation and hiding a corpse in connection with the death of his wife Anita in April 2013. Mark reported his wife missing from their town of Corning home on April 26, 21013. Her body was found in Taylor County May 13. She had been strangled, stabbed and her body left in a swamp along Cty. C, about 20 miles from the Bucki home.
