Learn about Wisconsin’s Ice Age Trail, its history and glacial features and pick up some hiking tips along the way. Guest speaker Ruth Sommers, member of the State Ice Age Trail Alliance and the Portage County Ice Age Trail Chapter, would like to share her “Incredible Journey” of walking the entire Ice Age Trail over 1,000 miles at the Annual Membership meeting of the Northwoods Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance. The public is invited.
The presentation will follow a fairly brief Chapter business meeting. Chapter volunteers will share their efforts and adventures on their segments of the trail during the past year.
The meeting will be on Tuesday, April 22, at 6:30 p.m. in the Lincoln County Services Building, 801 N. Sales St., Merrill.
