Ambulance calls: #243- At 10:51 a.m. Medic 1 responded to MGSHC for a 5 year old male with a trauma, transported to MSJH; #244- At 4:10 p.m. Medic 2 responded to Douglas St. for an 89 year old female with a trauma, transported to MGSHC.
Other activities: Physical fitness training; inspection of area businesses looking for any fire safey hazards.
February 22
Ambulance calls: #245- At 1:56 a.m. Medic 1 responded to W. Main St. for a 37 year old male with a trauma, transported to MGSHC; #246- At 10:39 a.m. Medic 3 responded to Gleason for a standy at the snowmobile racesl #247- At 6:35 p.m. Medic 1 responded to Fowler Dr. for a 47 year old female with a respiratory problem, transported to MGHSC.
Other activities: Advanced EMT training attended by 2 MFD members.
February 23
Ambulance calls: #249- At 2:06 p.m. Medic 2 responded to E. 1st St. for a 51 year old male with a trauma, no transport; #250- At 5:52 p.m. Medic 3 responded to MGSHC for a 10 day old female with a respiratory problem, transported to MSJH; #251- At 9:40 p.m. Medic 1 responded to W. Taylor St. for a 90 year old female with a respiratory problem, transported to MGSHC; #252- At 10:24 p.m. Medic 2 responded to Cty. K for a 66 year old female with an illness, transported to MGSHC.
Other activities: Weekly skill drills on emergency response guide book; review fire department connecetions in area businesses; train on the safe operation of chainsaws & ventilation saws.
February 24
Fire/rescue calls: #255- At 7:45 a.m. MFD responded to Merrill City Hall for a natural gas smell. Fire crew began search near police department, 0ppm determined on 2 meters, detective stated smell was overcharged squad car battery in PD garage.
