The Lincoln County Health Department will hold an education program on tickborne disease April 10, from 4-6 p.m. at the Lincoln County Service Center, 801 N. Sales St., Merrill.
The program will feature presentations from Diep (Zip) Hoang Johnson, vectorborne epidemiologist with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services; Chris Steward, research analyst and Lyme disease surveillance coordinator for the state of Wisconsin; and Dr. Jeffrey Moore, family practice physician with Marshfield Clinic Merrill Center.
The program will include information on tickborne illnesses, how to recognize the symptoms, their treatment and prevention.
