Join the Merrill Area Concert Association at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8 in the Merrill High School Auditorium for its 3rd concert of the season, welcoming the combined local talent of John Greiner’s SwingShift Big Band and the UW-Marathon County Jazz Central Voices, in a show titled Prelude to a Kiss.
Under the direction of the über-talented Buchholz and Greiner, the SwingShift Big Band and Jazz Central Voices guarantee to keep your heart hoppin’ and your soul swingin’ with a concert that features the classics of Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey. This sweet combination of local instrumental and vocal talent is an early Valentine’s Day treat you won’t want to miss.

The MACA 2013-2014 season continues with the Abrams Brothers on Sunday, March 16, and concludes with the Rodney Mack Philadelphia Big Brass on Tuesday April 29. Both shows will be held at the Merrill High School Auditorium, beginning at 7 p.m.
