Paul Kraetsch has been promoted to New Car Manager at Stark Merrill. Kraetsch has worked in the sales department at Stark for seven years and has been in automotive sales for 15 years.
“Paul is ambitious,” said dealership owner Bill Stark. “We like to promote from the local community and he has a passion for the business. He’s out to sell customers and keep them happy.”
Paul, who grew up in Merrill, invites all his friends, family and customers to come see him at Stark. Paul said he enjoys working for Stark because it is a family business that is good to employees and has a long-running reputation in the community.
As new car manager, Paul is responsible for ordering new inventory, monitoring competitive pricing, ensuring customer satisfaction, displaying inventory and supervising sales staff.
Stark Merrill handles the full line of GM products from Chevrolet, Buick and Cadillac. Stark is the number one Chevrolet-certified dealer in the area. The dealership can go back as far as five model years to offer a bumper-to-bumper warranty, two years of scheduled maintenance, low interest rates and three months of OnStar service.
The Merrill store shares inventory with the Madison Stark location, combining for an availability of more than 300 used cars and 400 new ones. Stark provides free loaner cars to service customers, and now also offers loaner trucks for those who need a truck while theirs is being serviced.
The Stark family has been in the car business since 1956, when Bill’s father opened an Oldsmobile dealership in Menomonee Falls, WI. Stark opened in Merrill in 1985 and built the current facility on Brandenburg Avenue in 2005.
