Affordable Care Act one-on-one help at library

On Thursday, Jan. 9, from 1- 8 p.m. in T.B. Scott Free Library’s Community Room, receive personal help in signing up for the Affordable Care Act through the Healthcare Marketplace.
Certified assistors will help you create or check your Marketplace account, review health plans and complete enrollment.  They will be available to educate consumers and answer questions about the health insurance exchanges.  Enrollment assistance will be available in English & Spanish. Other languages are available, please prearrange call SRA Int’l at 715-218-0335
Enrollment sessions generally take between 30 and 40 minutes. People need to bring a photo ID, and a Social Security card (for themselves and for all family members who are applying for coverage).  It is helpful to bring W-2 forms from the previous year.
Enrollment can be done online, so you are welcome to bring your laptop; otherwise computers will be provided.
Providing a place in Lincoln County for the public to register for coverage through the Healthcare Marketplace is an important service for T.B. Scott Library to provide.  Assistant Director Don Litzer adds, “If successful, we plan to provide these sessions on a regular basis, and appreciate SRA International’s cooperation in setting this up.” This is a Scott Free Event.
This enrollment event is brought to Merrill by SRA International, a contractor certified by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the US Dept of Health & Human Services.
Refreshments will be provided by Checkered Churn and First Street Coffee Station.  For more information on this or other Scott Free library programs check www.tbscottlibrary.org, T.B. Scott Free Library on Facebook, or call the Library at 715-536-7191.
