The 3rd Annual Very Merrill Christmas cards and prints are now on sale at the Merrill Chamber of Commerce. This year’s card is named “Footprints in the Park” and depicts the bridge in Stange’s Park and the T.B. Scott Library.
Each year the Chamber of Commerce hosts a contest for area artists to submit a work of art that depicts a Merrill Christmas scene. Ted Nicholson has been the winning artist for all three Christmas cards. “Merrill has many talented artists and we love seeing every entry submitted,” said Debbe Kinsey, Chamber CEO. “But each year Ted’s paintings have won the judges over with his detail, talent and ability to bring Merrill scenes to life.”
Once again the Chamber is offering three sizes of prints: limited edition signed and certified 12×16 prints for $50; a 10×13 print for $35; and an 8×10 print for $25. Christmas cards are sold in packs of 25 cards/envelopes for $20 or individually for $2 each. The cards and prints are available at the Chamber office during their normal hours Monday thru Friday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. And the Christmas cards are also available at Blooming Wishes and Courtside Furniture.
The Chamber also has a limited number of 2012 Christmas cards and 10×13 and 8×10 prints still available.
