Lois Johnson, age 71, of Merrill, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Pine Crest Nursing Home.
She was born November 29, 1941 in Wausau to the late Joseph and Dorothy (Springer) Tollar.
Lois graduated from Wausau East High School in 1959. She was a home maker most of her life then later managed a Goodwill store in Florida. Lois had lived in Florida for 15 years before coming to Merrill a short time ago.
Survivors include her son: Ross Johnson, Wausau; two grandchildren: Mya and Noah Johnson; sister: Nancy (Lamar) Bauer, FL; two nephews: Mike & Todd Bauer, FL; and her special childhood friend, Marlene Henrichs. She is also survived by her former husband, John Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Christ Community Church, 8100 Alderson St in Weston. Pastor Robin Wilde will officiate. Waid Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.waidfuneral.com.
