Computer, ebook coaching at library

T.B. Scott Free Library’s November Computer Coaching and eBook Coaching sessions are coming soon.

Computer Coaching sessions will be held in the library’s Board Room on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 10 a.m.; Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m.; and Thursday, Nov. 7 at 1 p.m.
Whatever your experience with a computer–even if you think you’re computer illiterate–if you’re curious about the Internet, need to have an email account, or want to type or do something else with a computer, you will receive help in a one-on-one, low-stress setting. You may bring your own laptop. Reservations are appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome and encouraged.

All attendees will be eligible for the monthly door prize, an 8 gigabyte flash drive provided courtesy of Merrill Radio Shack and the Friends of T.B. Scott Library.
The library will also offer eBook Coaching on Thursday, Nov, 7 and Thursday, Nov.14 at 1 and 6 p.m.

eBook coaching offers you an opportunity to learn more about your Kindle, iPad, nook, or other ereader device. Learn how to download ebooks and audiobooks from the library for free, and become more comfortable with your device generally. Bring your device along and instructors will help you figure it out. Reservations are not necessary.

If regularly scheduled eBook and Computer Coaching sessions don’t fit in your schedule, or if you have any questions about T.B. Scott Library’s digital divide-bridging services, call the library (at 536.7191) for information and/or to set up an individual consultation.
