The Marathon County Buyers’ Guide and the Merrill Foto News have both completed our annual “Pink” edition of our publications for October 2013. Within the Oct 8 & 9 newspapers, we encouraged our advertisers to include a breast cancer awareness ribbon somewhere in their ads. There was no additional cost to them, but for every ad containing a ribbon we are making a contribution on their behalf to Relay For Life.
The response from our advertisers was extremely positive. The majority of ads ran with ribbons in them, thus allowing us to make a donation in the amount of $385 to this great cause in the name of our loyal advertisers of both publications.
