Waid Funeral Home will be sponsoring a polka worship service on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Les & Jim’s Lincoln Lanes, Merrill.
A nondenominational service will be held at 4 p.m. by Pastor Greg Laska of Luthern Memorial Lutheran Church, Gleason, and St. Paul Lutheran Church, Pine River. The II Edition polka band will play from 5-8 p.m. Refreshments will be available and door prizes will be drawn. Donations to the Merrill Food Pantry are appreciated.
Money collected will be used to sponsor a Never Forgotten Honor Flight to Washington, DC for a local veteran.
