Local students win tuition awards from Catholic Order Of Foresters

Catholic Order of Foresters, headquartered in Naperville, IL, awarded $25,000 in tuition assistance awards to COF youth members attending Catholic kindergarten through high school.
Emily Weix, Merrill, was one of 100 winners chosen in a random drawing who received a $250 award for the 2013-14 school year.
COF also awarded $10,000 in tuition reimbursement to COF youth public school members attending a Catholic religious education program, kindergarten through high school.
Elizabeth Weix, Merrill, was one of 200 winners selected in a random drawing to receive a $50 award for the 2013-14 school year.
Members of COF’s St. Mary Court 498, the students attend St. Francis Xavier.
COF annually awards more than $150,000 in scholarships, tuition assistance and educational awards. Established in 1883, COF has more than 126,000 members nationwide and ranks among the top 10 fraternal benefit insurance societies in the United States.
